50 candle drawing winners

Simone enjoying her winnings

Happy Holidays!! We received the nicest thank you from our winners of the 50 free candles. I think they enjoyed smelling them as much as we enjoyed making them. Here is a little excerpt:

"Words can't express the thanks for the candles. I was so overwhelmed with them but have chosen my favorites already! My daughters and I had a "smelling" party which brought many smiles and laughter as well as reminiscing."
Simone from Palm Desert CA
" I can't believe that these 50 votive scents are less than 10% of all the scents you have. I was going to give them to friends with a Christmas card but they all smell so amazing I didn't want to part with any of them! Thanks for having this contest for customers and your affiliates."
Tammy from Houston TX
We will definitely be doing this type of promotion again. So watch out for it soon.

New Scents!!

As a scent addict I'm always on the quest for new fragrances. Due to the manufacture increases and increase cost in shipping in recent years we limit my addiction to purchasing new scents only twice a year (unless I absolutely have to have it!) . We have 28 new scents and they are delicious!

Acai Berry, Apple Martini, Barbershop, Black Forest Truffle, Cinnamon Red Hot, Cornucopia, Extremely Sexy for Men, Extremely Sexy for Women, Forbidden Fruit, Hot Cocoa, Jamaica Me Crazy, Jungle Love, Lei Flower, Little Black Dress, Madagascar Spice, Mahogany Spice, Misbehavin, Modern Black, Moon and Stars, Nikki’s Herb Patch, Of a Woman type, Painted Lady,

Quilt, Satsuma, Sweet Potato Pie, Sweet Tooth, Sugar Cane, White Chocolate

I haven't had a chance to make candles out of all of them yet but I can't stop putting my nose to the fragrance bottle. Don't forget that many of the fragrances are also available in our bath & body products. We are always open to suggestions and even combining scents

Great new stuff

Just in time for the holidays the newest aromatic sensation are here. These are one of my favorite air fresheners if I can't use a candle. They are simple to use and smell fantastic. Just pick your scent, put the reeds in the bottle, place anywhere in the room where it won't spill and voila!! In about a hour or two the diffuser oil absorbs up the reeds and the smell is wonderful! These last for several months and then you can find another refill scent to fall in love with. We are starting off with over 75 scents right now which is still more than most offer.

Purchase a diffuser set and a refill together and get $3.oo off until January 31st 2009
. (prices discount will not show up on shopping cart. Not for check orders)

Fragrances are a personal thing. My mom like floral scents, my BFF likes only Vanilla and Rice Flower & Shea. I have a tendency to enjoy fruity blends, woodsy, fresh, and.....oh heck I love many scent categories; that's why I started this business. We don't want anyone buying a scented item for someone and they hate it the smell of it. That's why we've added Gift Certificates to our line. They can pick whichever scent they want and love you for choosing a company with a great variety.

Holiday Sales

Several took advantage of our first annual Cyber Monday Buy 1 get 1 Free Sale! Am I glad it's over - YES. The constant emails, phone calls and the large orders have me and my staff in a tizzy. Would I do it again? YES, in a heartbeat!! It went over so well I might make it twice a year so be on the look out in a few months. My other staffer, myself and any family member I can bribe have been pouring candles for 6 days straight. Luckily I have a relative that will work for scents. I made a batch of Lavender-Vanilla body butter for her and she's good for about another few weeks.

Congrats to Simone from Palm Desert, CA for winning the 50 free votive drawing. And my most productive affiliate in November Tammy, from Houston TX for winning another 50 free candles. She was definitely on a mission!
There are still over 65 items on sale. Get them now before they go!!
Until next time....back to candle-making.

Black Friday? Why not Cyber Monday!!

In my handful of years as an adult I have never been one to set my clock for 2am to drive to a parking lot and stand outside in the freezing cold for 5 hours for 50% off anything. I guess I just didn't want anything in the stores that bad enough. I have a tendency to shop online for any and everything online and I love getting unique handcrafted items from other crafty women websites. Here are a few items I picked up last year for family and friends and they simply loved them:
Nikki's Favorite Things
So why spend the day after Thanksgiving on line instead of online in the comfort of your home!
Not to mention. Nikki makes Scents will be having our first annual
Cyber Monday Sale!!
You have to log on on Monday to find out what it is. No, you won't have to set your clock for 2am. It's an all day sale. One day only.....Monday December 1st.
Log on that day for fantastic deals at already fantastic prices.

I'm back!!

Yes, Yes I know. It's been over a year since my last post. Truthfully, I didn't know what to talk about. Then I realized there are many people who love candles and scents as much as I do! Why else would they be visiting my website? Therefore; why not share my thoughts with these candle & scent enthusiast every few weeks. Now I can't guarantee every week but I definitely won't miss another month without checking in.
November's Scent of the Month is Apple Dumpling and let me tell you it smells so much like the real thing it made my mouth water making my first batch last month. Truth be told year round I love a tart Granny Smith and fat-free caramel dip as a weekly (okay daily) snack. Is there a favorite combination you can't go a few day without snacking on?
Until next time.
